We have a Dallas guest in town tonight, Kevin MacDonald, and the three of us are about to cook a mean French dinner inside our cozy little kitchen, away from this gloomy, chilly London night, and have homemade carrot cake for dessert, (recipe courtesy of neighbor, Rita.) YUM!
Tomorrow Brian and I have determined to travel on a day trip somewhere, place as of now still TBD. Hint for our probable destination: in line with our recent Tudor line knowledge and former castle of first wife to lose her head over King Henry.
