Ten years ago today, Brian and I had the infamous DTR and started dating. And although my Greek loyalty was found in the Delta house during my Baylor stint, it was after the Pi Phi Howdy dance that we officially became 'Kambry and Brian' (thank you, Pi Phi dance)... while sitting on the benches underneath the beautiful Baylor trees in between the old law school building and the fountain mall (which now no longer contains a real fountain, either).
Yes, we did break up once: for less than 24 hours, and resumed our relationship after a Halloween party. It must have been my red M&M costume I wore that night that lured him back. Ha!
So, happy Sept. 9! And many many more happy years together--it's been the best 10 years!
(How I wish I had the picture of us as two 19-year-olds wearing our Baylor Line jerseys at the first football game to scan in and post here; but, alas, it—along with almost everything else we own—is in storage in Irving, Texas.) I will leave you to your imagination.

Lucky you! I think Jonathan and I had about 5 DTR's before being "Jonathan and Lauren." Ha!
