Although this is a throw-back to sometime during the frigid days of February, I just had to upload this picture from my blackberry. I snapped it one day walking home from a meeting with the American Women's Club, and am just in love with how cute these little English schoolgirls are in their matching uniforms, hats, scarfs, tights, and patent mary jane shoes on their recess break in Kensington Gardens. A class full of Madeleines are what they reminded me of. Come spring and summer, these little students don a straw hat with a ribbon around it in place of their winter tobogans with the red furry balls on top.Enjoy!!
