Last weekend, we set off on another day-long, almost 12-mile hike in the Chiltern Hills... just about an hour from Central London. The autumn colors were breathtaking, as were the quaint details of the English countryside that we never seem to tire of. We hope it wasn't the last hike of the season, but I will say the weather has shifted and winter seems to be just around the corner (cringe). We're praying against another lock-down frozen winter like we had last year.
