Although we can't enjoy true Tex-Mex to celebrate the birthday boy turning the big 2-9 and Cinco de Mayo, we do have plans to celebrate over dinner at Bumpkin, coined as British comfort food. Think Tillman's Roadhouse in Dallas, but for Londoners. It is delicious, and a new favorite of ours' over here in South Kensington.
Today's Headlines....
Does anyone else (besides us) find it funny that on the eve before one of the biggest events of the year in the United Kingdom--the Prime Ministerial election--the British newspaper is sharing its front page with American news--New York manhunt and Carrie-style fashion? We read these headlines bright and early this morning over a birthday breakfast at the neighborhood cafe.
