Easter in the Loire Valley, France

Bonjour, and Happy Easter from Europe! We just returned last night from a weekend in the Loire Valley of France with our dear friends, Matt and Oksana Beard. They landed in London last Wednesday morning and I picked them up at Earl's Court Station bright and early and we set off across London to see the sights. On Thursday afternoon, the four of us set off on the EuroStar bound for Paris, where we spent the night, before renting a car and headed for the the town of Amboise in the Loire Valley to tour beautiful chateaus and enjoy the unbelievable food for the weekend. We even did a decent job speaking in French to the locals, especially when ordering pains de chocolates and other delicious pastries at the boulangerie pattisseries along the way. More pics to come, but here is a glimpse of some of the beautiful sights that we saw together. Chateaus Chenonceau, Chambord, Villandry, and Amboise were on our list and we also saw Charteres Cathedral. Everything was so charming and we had such a wonderful time together!
