It is a little hard--and scary--to believe that Brian and I are now both one year away from 30--eek! We both took the day off to spend together and had a great day enjoying the parks, having breakfast in Notting Hill and walking up Portobello Road, and we went on a tour of an old palace that now the headquarters of the British Commonwealth. We shared dinner at a delicious spot in our neighborhood to wrap up the day.
And, a few days before, my sweet friend here in town, Anne, and her husband, Burr, spoiled us with a fabulous Italian feast of delicious pork bolognese sauce and pasta at their flat nearby--complete with made-by-hand Hummingbird cupcakes... We got to indulge in this chocolate goodness all week long --and we definitely enjoyed every bite! Thank you!
